Attended my first race at the ripe age of a couple months old at Islip Speedway on L.I. in N.Y. and have been hooked ever since
Grew up on Nascar Type Modifieds and still love the groundpounding they deliver.(TV does not do these justice)
Moved to San Antonio TX. in Jan 87, and by 1990 was strapping into a Nascar Charger division car at S.A.Speedway.
in 95 finished 5th in points w/perfect attendance(a feat in itself)
in 96 finished 3rd in points again made every race(quite an accomplishment!!)
in 98 moved up to streetstocks where after 5 races and the car destroyed, my family went hungry, and i knew it was time to "let it go"
ive had indy 500, nascar 1 and 2, indycar 1 and 2 and N2002 but it wasnt till N2K3 that i got online, it had been some time since i got to race against Carbon Based opponents, and naturally , i was hooked
been in WORRL and SSCA trans am as well as MNRL GTP and Flog Megane and GT leagues.
am currently enjoying the iRacing simulation exclusively.

He discovered sim racing in 1998 when he saw an ad in Car and Driver magazine for GPL. Mike went out and bought the game, a video card to run it and a thrustmaster T2 wheel the next day. Now, nearly eight years, several wheels and untold computer ugrades later he's still hooked.
Mike started racing online in 1999 on VROC and was a founding member of the VROC F2 club which still races every Saturday morning. He raced in other GPL leagues including Eric Cote's GPLites, Peter Jensen's F2 League, SNRL and FATSO. He bought and tried the entire series of Papyrus Nascar titles but he's a roadie and never got the hang opf oval racing. When N2K3 came out he started road racing cup and then TA cars with SRRS and then MNRL's GTP league. Now hooked on rFactor running occasionally with SRRS again in the Advanced Trainers and with FLOG in the Megane series and now FIA GTs.
Mike is married with two grown kids and three Australian Shepherd dogs. His other interests include camping, fishing, golf and watching all/any kind of motorsport.

In 2007, Chris got back into online racing with rFactor. Stumbling upon an MNRL practice server, Chris joined his first true league, which contained a full roster of Orion Race Team drivers. This lead to a friendship between many Orion drivers on IRC, and that lead to Orion giving Chris the opportunity to race with the team in the SSCA Endurance league.

He joined his first league, NASSCAR.com, in their last season of offline racing. Then he spent several years racing in various divisions of their online series. Chad dabbled in various sims (Richard Burns Rally, GTR2, Live for Speed, etc.) but has spent most of his time in Papyrus sims.
Chad has also done some endurance racing in the Bullrun 1000 and SCCA 12 Hours at the Glen. He loves the added challenge in the longer races and the fun of racing directly with team mates. Chad hopes to do more endurance races in the future.
Recently, Chad has started doing instruction for drivers. He enjoys working with other drivers to improve their technique and sim racing experience. Chad plans to build on this by providing replays and track guides in addition to his on-track training.
