iRacing Summer Season Success!

The iRacing Summer Season 2008 has come to a close, with great success from The Orion Race Team!
Frosty St.Clair took the Division 1, and overall season championship in the Advanced Solstice Class, with 7 wins out the 8 counted weeks to win the title by 47pts. Dion Vergers finished up the season in 3rd overall, and took the Division 3 Championship home in his first full season in iRacing. Chad McNeese, the former Advanced Solstice Champion, was having a strong season until with 4 weeks to go experienced computer problems and was unable to finish out the season. Chad still managed to finish an impressive 11th overall dispite only completing 6 out of the needed 8 races.
Ilkka Haapala dominated in the Advanced Solstice time trial events finishing with a near perfect season and 793pts, only 7pts off a perfect season. Frosty St.Clair was able to finish 2nd in the time trial championships to his teammate, although a distant 17pts behind.
In the Skip Barber Series, Frosty St.Clair was able to score an impressive 4th overall only using 8 races out of the entire season. That meant St.Clair had no room for error, and every race counted not allowing for any drops during the season. David Sirois finished a strong 11th overall, only using 9 out of the 12 weeks, only allowing David one drop. And again with a tough season, not able to complete more than 6 races, Chad McNeese finished 16th overall. David Sirois also finished in the top 15 in the time trial competition.
Dion Vergers also finished an impressive 7th overall in the Advanced Legends, and winning the Division 2 Championship, again in his first ever full season in iRacing!
